How to win

The country with the most points at the end of the event wins. Every way of scoring pays about the same for the same time played, so play the way you like. Values can still be tuned before the event.

  • Capture a flag: +5 for an island, +8 for a city.
  • Hold zones: every 10 minutes, +1 per island your country holds (day and night) and +2 per enemy city (17:00-00:00).
  • Bank enemy dog tags on Bank Island: +2 per tag.
  • Raid an enemy city base: +30 for destroying an enemy country's main tool cupboard inside a city base circle.
  • Loot first: elite crate +1, Bradley and helicopter crates +4, locked crate +6, oil rig locked crate +12.
  • Kill the bounty, the enemy with the longest kill streak: +5, and they drop 3 extra dog tags.
  • Nation contracts: +3 each, shared between everyone who helped.

Teams

  • Each country is led by 3 main streamers. The rest of the team is other streamers and viewers from their communities.
  • No player cap during sign-ups. A week before the event, one cap is set from the sign-ups, the same for all three countries.
  • You're locked into your country's team for the whole event.

The map

A custom map of the Baltic states with real rivers and highways.

  • Home cities, each with a flat base circle: Riga, Liepāja, Daugavpils (Latvia), Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda (Lithuania), Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu (Estonia).
  • Monument islands off the coast: Launch Site, Airfield, Power Plant and Dome.
  • Farm Island, rich in ore.
  • Bank Island off the east coast, where dog tags are banked.
  • The Outpost (merged with Bandit Camp) on its own island. It's a safe zone.
  • Both oil rigs, plus 2 fishing villages, a gas station and a supermarket in every country.
  • You respawn on your own country's beaches, only in the zones your country still holds.

Zones and flags

The map is split into 15 zones, each with one capture flag at a custom structure or a spot on the monument.

  • 9 city zones, 3 per country. Every country starts with its own 3.
  • 6 island zones: Launch Site, Airfield, Power Plant, Dome, Farm Island and Bank Island. They start neutral.
  • The Outpost is not a zone. It belongs to the country that has finished the most contracts, and that country pays 25% less for events.

Capturing a flag

  • Stand within 20 m of the flag for 3 minutes.
  • If players from two countries are at the flag, it's contested and nobody makes progress.
  • Island flags (the 6 island zones) can be captured any time during the event.
  • Mainland city flags can only be captured in the evening, 17:00-00:00 Baltic time (Friday from 19:00).
  • A capture gives your country the zone and +5 points for an island flag, +8 for a city flag.
  • After a capture, the flag is locked for other countries: 10 minutes for a city flag, 5 minutes for an island flag. The country that just lost it can retake it straight away.

Building and losing zones

  • You can only build and place sleeping bags in zones your country holds.
  • Nobody can build on the islands or in the sea. Boats are fine: build one at a Boat Building Station.
  • If another country captures one of your zones, your sleeping bags there are destroyed after 1 hour and your buildings decay away within about 1 hour. Tool cupboard upkeep doesn't stop it. Retaking the zone does.

City bases and raids

  • Bases inside the 9 city base circles don't lose sleeping bags and don't decay, even if the zone is lost.
  • The only way to take them out is to raid them, and only on Saturday and Sunday 17:00-00:00 Baltic time. Outside those hours enemies can't damage them.

Dog tags and the Bank

  • Kill a player from another country. They drop a dog tag.
  • Carry the tags to the Bank on Bank Island and put them in the vault chest in the basement. A 1-minute transport countdown starts.
  • Stay alive and inside the bank zone for that minute. If you die or leave, the transport is cancelled and the tags drop for anyone to take.
  • Dog tags drop all weekend, so farm them any time. Banking only works in the evening, 17:00-00:00 Baltic time (Friday from 19:00). Tags from your own country score nothing.
  • The other countries know where the bank is too. Bring backup.

Territory map

The territory map shows every zone, who owns it, the flags and the scores. Set it up once: press F1, type bind m +rivals.map and press Enter. Then hold M to see the map.

FAQ

Who can join?

Streamers and viewers from the Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Rust communities. Get in touch on our Discord if you want to play for your country.

Do I need to stream?

No. Teams are made of streamers and viewers, so you can just play. If you do stream, tell us when you get in touch.

Can I switch teams during the event?

No. Once you're on your country's team, you're locked in for the whole event.

BrotherHood is from Latvia. Is it fair?

We built it to be fair: the same team size cap and the same rules for all three countries. Flags, zones and scores are tracked by the server and shown on the territory map for everyone to see.

What about ping?

We plan to host the server for fair ping for all three countries. We'll confirm the details before the event.

Are there prizes?

The prize pool is being built with sponsors. If you know a brand that wants in, message us.
